Stairway to Heaven

     "If I ever had a line to heaven I swear I'll be there tonight.."  

     Heaven, as what all of us know is a paradise, a place of wonder, an enchanting world where every human wants to go. It is like Charlie's Chocolate Factory where a golden ticket is needed to go inside that amazing dreamland. Some says that a certain religion could be the visa to heaven, but is it really the powerful thread that connects us to our Almighty God?

     Let's think. What does every religion can offer? It can be the assurance that you will have your own space in heaven, a soul cleansing prayer, or maybe a promise that you will never see the soul destructing hell. Churches, sects, cults and any other kind of religion may lead us to the enlightenment we need to get closer to God. They provide ways on how to live with God's purpose. In my own  perspective, our religion is not enough  to save our souls. We have our own choices. We are all responsible for our own deeds. We manage our own lives. We should think first before we act to prevent doing evil things that won't nourish  our God-fearing souls. Prioritizing God in our lives leads us to an unachievable success - contentment of our hearts and souls.

     In analyzing all of our beliefs in attaining the long term goal - heaven, I can say that the only way to reach heaven lies within our own hands, with the choices we make and most especially  a personal relationship with God through our prayers. Living a life without God is a clueless line to heaven, it is like stepping on a stairway down to hell. So after reading this, give yourself a time to think, to meditate, and to realize. Be brave enough to do the right thing. God is always with you. Live a clean life without sins..climb into the stairway to heaven..meet God and feel His love for you!
